My Account

Learn how to manage your profile, account settings, and more in the Jetpack app’s “My Account” section.

The My Account section in the Jetpack app provides various options to manage your profile, account settings, and more. To find the “My Account” section, tap Me at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Below are the details of each option that is available in this section.

My Profile

My Profile option allows you to access and update your personal information, such as your account name, public display name, and about yourself.

Account Settings

Account Settings allows you to manage your account preferences, including username, email address, password, set your primary site address, etc.

In Account Settings, you can also see which WordPress.com account is linked to the app — your username and email are displayed at the top of this screen.

Billing & Payments

If you have a paid plan, you can manage your payment methods from a browser by visiting wordpress.com/me/purchases. From there, go to the Payment Methods tab to add or update your credit card or PayPal details. Payment methods are private to your account and can’t be accessed by other site administrators.

Scan Login Code

The Scan Login Code option allows you to log in to the WordPress.com account by scanning the QR code displayed on the browser. The steps are here:

  1. Go to https://wordpress.com/log-in, and click Login via app to see the QR code.
  2. Click on the Scan Login Code option and scan the QR code to log in to the account.

App Settings

From App Settings, you can optimize image size and video quality, change the appearance of the app, access your device’s system settings, and more.

How to change the language of the app? You can do that from the App Settings screen if you tap Open Device Settings. This will take you to your device’s system settings for the Jetpack app, where you can select a preferred language specifically for the app.

Help & Support

The Help option allows you to find answers to common questions, access support resources, and contact Jetpack support if you need assistance.

You will also find a Logs option, which you can use to copy details and paste them into your ticket/query when you contact Jetpack support, as it will be very helpful in finding the source of the issue you are facing.

Share Jetpack with a friend

Using the Share Jetpack with a friend option, you can invite your friends and family members to install and use the Jetpack app on their devices.

About Jetpack

Using About Jetpack, you can learn more about Jetpack, its features, its Blog, and the team behind it.

Domains

The Domains option allows you to manage your domain names, including adding new domains, configuring DNS settings, renewing existing domains, transferring the domain, etc.

If you have any domains purchased through WordPress.com, they will also appear here.

Log Out

You can use the Log Out option to Log out of your Jetpack account securely.

Close Account

Closing an account is currently not possible through the Jetpack app, it can only be done through a browser. Your Jetpack is linked to your WordPress.com account, so if you want to close it, please check our detailed process here and what access you will lose.
