Thanks @MiniverCheevy for this! As per @MeirionHughes's comment, this functionality is also included in #853 which has since been merged, so I'll close this as a duplicate. |

I've altered the webpack.config.js and packages.json to enable hot module reload with the webpack middleware. I have kept the general layout of both files consistent. This is based largely on some samples from @jods4, but I don't think anything can beat dotnet new aurelia.
