Description
I am using tmux next-3.7, I have checked the documentation, and apparently there is no support to add a backdrop (dimmed backgroung) for popup windows.
I use popup windows extensively, e.g. to load saved tmux sessions, navigate different sessions, launch lazygit... IMO it would be really nice to have a backdrop option similar to some neovim plugins (e.g. like Mason, or lazy.nvim) that would make the popup windows stand out more.
I am sure that you already know what I mean, but just to provide a visual, this is the backdrop in lazy.nvim:
I have tried several times to implement that option for tmux, but unfortunatelly I am not well versed in C, and I don't want to provide a vibe-coded pull-request...
Thanks a lot for this great piece of software and for considering this feature request!
