Deep learning project "Strike with BLOD": Analyzing the impact of Blur, Lightness, Occlusion, and Darkness on traffic sign recognition performance of CNN network
Our research provides evidence that cell proliferation in the retina is quickly regulated by environmental light conditions. We found that higher rate of proliferation throughout the retina occurs when animals are raised in constant darkness, resulted in a global increase in the number of the highly sensitive rod photoreceptors. We propose that this plasticity enables the adaptation to poorly enlighten environments, found naturally by this species in muddy waters, where light sensitivity is critical for survival and mating.tos referentes a la publicación del Articulo de retina
