Added fresh poke on 9/16. The poke quickly turned to soup-like consistency. Some larvae dead. The larva on the left was observed feeding, yes feeding, on the right larva. I have seen this with maggots. The digestive enzymes produced by many maggots turn the substrate into soup. Will terminate this project.

I found this one that looked like some of the X. albicans to me. Hal agreed.
