Found on dry grassland near border of Saskatchewan and Montana. Sad I did not get better photo. Suspect Orthophagini or Deltochilini. Orthophagus hecate and Canthon simplex are listed for Montana and/or Saskatchewan. Canthon seems to be a better match.
