Preact is an open project, maintained and governed by volunteers. We are a community of developers who value pragmatism and performance, and Preact is the primary means by which we pursue these ideals.

Preact’s team spans numerous large projects in addition to the core Preact library, from Preact DevTools to WMR and Preact CLI. We also maintain critical infrastructure for the front-end ecosystem, like Microbundle and HTM.

We don't aim to provide salaries since most of us have full-time jobs, instead donations enable us to recognize the accomplishments and dedication that keep this project moving forward.
