Biography:

I am a dedicated naturalist and photographer with no formal education in the sciences. Nevertheless, I consider myself a serious student and attempt in all situations to rely on careful observation, respected resources, assistance from those with more experience and knowledge than myself, and (of course) a healthy balance of enthusiasm and humility. I consider this site to be an invaluable and lovingly-crafted resource for naturalists. I am very grateful to all those who contribute and am pleased to be a part of this amazing community.

It is my wish that all of the photos I've submitted and any other content that I've posted are to remain on this site in the event of my death.
