A group of us took a short walk up Winsor Trail from the Santa Fe Ski Basin to visit a wet meadow next to the ski area parking lot at 35°47'50.0"N 105°48'12.0"W, 10357 ft. elevation, in the Aspen Basin 7.5’ quadrangle, Santa Fe Nat’l Forest, Santa Fe Co., New Mexico

The meadow drains subterranian water into the nearby stream. The water table is too high for trees to grow, allowing a diversity of sun-loving plants to flourish. We took pictures in and around the meadow.
