Habitat
lakes, rivers, ditches, slow streams, pools, and mud flats; adults come to lights (Matta 1976; Hilsenhoff & Brigham 1978)(4)
Remarks
Probably the most common Peltodytes species in Texas. (Sharon Jasper, pers. comm. to MAQ, 2009)
