This beetle was found trapped in the canopy with mosquito netting we set up on the back deck. Captured and put in the fridge overnight and released morning of July 7th. The deck is in the shade under two large Spruce trees.

Photos posted initially on iNaturalist.org and ID suggestion there is Phymatodes dimidiatus. Original observation with a few more pictures is here.
