This is an odd shape for a weevil, very chunky. It was on a blue flag iris flower, streamside.

Dead views!
I wish they would at least *pose* their pinned specimens in a natural position. The dorsal-view shape, the elytral color and texture, and the light medial stripe are about all we have to go on here. Can't tell much from side view.
