Abstract
This article notes that climate change, especially global warming, isà aà problem both at theà global level and for many nationalà economies. As aà result, aà new ideology appearedà ââ¬âà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠and aà newà type of economyà ââ¬âà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠. Theà basis of theà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy is electronics, computerà and space technologies, biotechnologies, theà latest energy sources and telecommunications. Theà mainà features of theà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy are dynamism, innovation, mass individualization, scientific approachà and network solutions. This article examines theà socio-ÃÂeconomic essence of theà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy,à as well as theà main directions and prospects for its development. It is noted thatà theà formation of aà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy will provide many benefits, including increased labor productivityà and income, reduction of unemployment and inflation. Theà ultimate goal of aà greenà economy is to improve people's living standards in theà long term andà reduce environmental and economic risks for future generations. Theà article focuses onà theà different approaches of countries to theà transition to aà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy due to differencesà in climate and economic structure. However, aà number of countries have similarà interests and priorities in achieving climate goals, which leads to the creation of alliances and associations to address these issues. The Eurasian Economicà Union (EAEU) is becoming one of such unions, setting aà common taskà ââ¬âà theà introduction of theà principles of aà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy. Theà article analyzes theà implementation of theseà principles in theà EAEU and notes that theà countries of this Union are activelyà working on theà formation of aà ââ¬Ågreenâ⬠economy, creating technologies for modernization andà increasing competitiveness, ââ¬ÅEurasian technology platformsâ⬠.
