Abstract
In this chapter we discuss very briefly some topics which are related to L 2-invariants but cannot be covered in this books either because the author does not feel competent enough to write more about them or either because it would require to write another book to treat them in detail. The interested reader should look at the references cited below. Neither the list of references nor the list of topics is complete.
