Welcome to the Carpenter Memorial Library

Our Mission: To provide a safe and welcoming space where all members of our community can find enrichment through reading and lifelong learning.

 

What we offer at the Library

  • Monthly new book and DVD releases
  • Ebooks and audiobooks available through the Libby App
  • Children's programs including weekly storytime and Summer Reading
  • Public access computers and printers 
  • Wi-Fi, accessible from inside and outside the building
  • Quiet study room suitable for tutoring sessions or virtual meetins.  Reservations can be make by calling the circulation desk at 509-674-2313.

Discover Passes are available for checkout!

The Discover Pass loan program is part of Check out Washington, a partnership between Washington state and Washington’s public libraries created to expand access to public land in the state. Washington State Parks offers this program in partnership with the Washington State Library and the Washington Departments of Fish & Wildlife and Natural Resources.

The Discover Pass is available for checkout for 7 days and is renewable for regular renewal periods if there are no holds, though the Library does expect many holds and a limited number of passes are available.
