Federal Communications Commission Released: July 8, 2025 FCC RECOGNIZES WINNERS OF THE 2025 CHAIRMAN’S AWARDS FOR ADVANCEMENT IN ACCESSIBILITY The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) today announces the ceremony honoring winners of the 2025 Chairman’s Awards for Advancement in Accessibility. The event will be held at 2:30 PM EDT on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters, 45 L St NE, Washington, DC. It is open to the public. You do not have to register to attend the event. The ceremony will be webcast with open captioning at fcc.gov/live. The meeting site is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs or other mobility aids. Sign language interpreters, open captioning, and assistive listening devices will be provided on site. Other reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are available upon request. Since the first award ceremony, the Chairman’s AAA has been a key part of the FCC efforts to recognize technical advances that have made communications tools more accessible to people with disabilities. The awards have been given 11 times to recognize outstanding private- and public-sector innovations designed to advance accessibility for people with disabilities.
