The National Domestic Violence Hotline, in partnership with the National Hotline Consortium, is conducting a survey to better understand victims and survivor experiences with online abuse and harassment, also known as technology facilitated abuse. This includes stalking, threats, harassment, or the non-consensual sharing of intimate images. Technology is often misused to monitor, control, or harm people experiencing intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and other forms of abuse. Survey results will help advocate for better policies, expand resources, and improve support for those experiencing online abuse.
This survey is completely anonymous. Your name and other identifying information will not be collected. If you are experiencing abuse and need support or connection to resources in your area, you can contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233, text “START” to 88788, or check out the Get Help section on our website.
This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete. You can stop or choose not to participate at any time.
