As Lifehacker's tech deals writer, I've been hard at work all week hunting down the best bargains on TVs, speakers, laptops, and other tech. Now that it's Friday, I've gathered together this week's sales highlights, all of which I've vetted using my favorite price tracking tools to make sure they are actually good deals.
This week, you can find (relative) bargain prices on tablets, smart watches, portable speakers, security cameras, and more—all of them going for their lowest prices ever.

Earbuds
There's a good selection of budget earbuds on sale this week. Nothing's CMF Buds Pro 2 are always affordable, but at $47 (originally $69), they're an even better deal. They offer a lot of cool features, like a "Smart Dial" on the charging case that lets you control the earbuds, AI assistance from ChatGPT directlyin your ears, solid active noise canceling (ANC), and more features that you can read about here.
If you prefer established brand names, especially ones that play nicely with iOS, consider the Beats Solo Buds, currently going for $41.99 (originally $79) for a refurbished pair on Woot. (Read more about this deal.)
Headphones
If you favor over-the-ear headphones, the Marshall Major V are $99.99 (originally $159.99). They offer solid sound, absurdly long battery life, and classic looks that actually feel comfortable on your head. (Read more about this deal.)
Smartwatches
Another gadget category with some good options this week is smartwatches. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is the best bet if you're on a budget—it's currently going for $180.99 (originally $449.99). PCMag thinks the Galaxy Watch 6 is "excellent," and called it the best Android-compatible smartwatch of 2023. Yes, that was two years ago, but for the price, it's still a solid option, especially for Samsung phone users.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 came out in July but Amazon is already offering a $50 discount; it's currently going for $299.99. There are other versions of the watch on sale too, like the Classic (available with both wifi and LTE models) that come with up to $100 in Amazon gift cards. (Check out the details.)
Apple users will be happy to know the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is down to $649.99 (originally $799.99), dropping back to the lowest-ever price it reached during Prime Day. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 was released in September 2023 and remains Apple's flagship smartwatch.
Smartphones
My favorite deal of the week is Google's Pixel 8 Pro going for $599.99 (originally $999.99). That's cool by itself, but Google is sweetening the deal by offering a free Google Pixel 2 and the official Pixel 8 Pro case. (Learn more about this bundle deal.)
TVs
An OLED TV with a huge discount is always a welcome sight, and this week has a big one. Samsung's S85D OLED Smart TV is $799.99 (originally $1,298). This is for a 55-inch refurbished model, although an 83-inch is also available for $1,699.
Laptops
Apple's newsest M4 MacBook laptops have been dropping in price little by little since their release, so perhaps the current price of the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air with a 256GB SSD shouldn't shock me, and yet. For $799 (originally $999), this arguably the best option for most Apple laptop users, and an incredible value any way you look at it. This is the best deal you can get on a laptop this week.
If the MacBook Air isn't powerful enough for your work, the M4 MacBook Pro is also down to its lowest price ever: $1,299 (originally $1,599). Apple's Pro models might be an overkill for most people, but if you know what you're looking for in a powerful laptop and you can swing the extra cost over the MacBook Air, this is another great deal.
