Abstract

This study aims to explore the theoretical model of local culture in multimedia interactive design from the perspective of Human-AI Collaboration. Literature review and case studies have been used to explore the advantages, challenges and functions of both of artificial intelligence (AI) and human designers in the process of design creation. The author has been analyzed how designers employ AI technologies such as image recognition and speech recognition to extract cultural elements with local characteristics efficiently and accurately. In addition, this research has been examined how AI assists designers in achieving innovation in market research, interface design, interaction logic, user experience, and usability evaluation. Finally, a theoretical system has been formed and a theoretical model for the multimedia interactive design of local culture in the environment of Human-AI Collaboration has been constructed. The roles played by AI and human designers in each design process have been proposed. This study can provide guidance and reference for local cultural multimedia interaction design under Human-AI collaborative environment, as well as promote the inheritance and innovation of local culture, and promote the development of multimedia interaction design field.
