La Consensus Conference (CC) ha deciso di lavorare da una parte rispettando il requisito della multidisciplinarietà e dall’altra adottando le metodiche derivate dalla medicina basata sull’evidenza (EBM, Evidence Based Medicine), e in particolare quelle utilizzate dalle linee guida italiane per la gestione dell’ictus SPREAD (Stroke Prevention and Educational Awareness Diffusion) [1].
