The following is a list of Guy Reed Ramsey’s manuscripts that appeared in print under the title of Postmarked Washington. 26 of Washington’s 39 counties were eventually published, often the result of a local historical society’s hard work and dedication.

The printed volumes contain more information than the manuscript that was given to the State Library by Guy. In addition to illustrations, drawings, and examples of post marks, these books were often supplemented with updated information about the topic by independent editors. The drawings and illustrations that were in Guy’s possession no longer exist as a collection; the contents were auctioned to private collectors after his death in 1980. Any images that appear in this online collection were included in the manuscript provided by Guy to the State Library.
