"Leadership is not about a title or destination. It's about impact, influence, and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading your passion for your work, and you have to inspire teammates. Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others..."

"Having a secure home gives people hope. It allows them to recalculate their future, no matter what their circumstances are and what the destruction looks like. It struck me that every time you improve someone's life in some way it provides hope, and all people should have some hope of a safe and secure family."

"The SBP Prepare Team was awesome to work with as Louisiana Just Recovery Network brought together dozens of individuals, from across the Gulf South, to build 500 disaster kits that were distributed throughout Southeast LA…The team offered us support in navigating which documents would be most appropriate for preparedness… and supported us on a tight timeline."

"With the help of SBP we have been able to complete six repairs in DeSoto County in the last six months. Without their assistance these families would still be waiting for safe and secure housing. We are forever grateful to SBP for their generosity and guidance."

"Many of us have experienced how stressful and practically impossible it has been to deal with FEMA - the letters, the documents they keep asking for that you've already provided again and again, and then have to fight the FEMA appeal system. Luckily, the SBP organization has been helping me with my appeals at every stage. I would not have achieved or even attempted to do it by myself."

"What you’ve done is not just a good deed, you’ve made an impact on a fellow human’s life, and you don’t know what it’s like until you’re on the receiving end. It’s phenomenal."
