Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference

The 2025 Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference will be held September 4th-5th, 2025 in person at Killington Resort with limited sessions available virtually.  Sessions will begin at 9:00am and the day will end by 4:15 each day. Attendee registration is now open Effective July 14th: Due to high demand, in-person registration is now only available to local Emergency Management Team members and local first responders.  If you are not in one of those groups, you are only able to register for the virtual track.

If you plan to stay at Killington Resort during the conference, you can register and pay for your room using this link with special rates for this conference.  If you are attending on behalf of a tax exempt organization, please follow Killington Grants Resort's Process for receiving tax exemption below:

  • If your Vermont School or Vermont State Department qualifies for tax exemption, payment shall be issued by a Vermont School or a Vermont State Department credit card. We are no longer accepting Purchase Orders and Checks for payment.  Tax Exempt Reservations will be paid in full at the time of booking(not booked online).  Please send in the Vermont S-3 Tax Exempt form within 48 hours of your booking, which must include the name and signature of an individual completing the purchase on behalf of the tax-exempt entity and dated within the past 12 months.  You can email the VT S-3 form and any questions to [email protected].
  • Please make sure the Seller Field is filled out with the following: Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners  or  Killington Grand Resort Hotel (either one is fine), 4763 Killington Rd, Killington, VT 05751
  • Description Field:  Should have the “name of conference” lodging rooms with approximate dates of stay – If you have names of guests or confirmation #’s to add to the description,  the more info the better.

The Call for Speakers and Call for Exhibitors closed on June 18th.

Nominations for EMD of the Year closed on July 9th.
