Banner based advertising
With the launch of this new website, we are solely running a 728px × 90px leaderboard that is shown on the footer of every page of phpBB.com and is available under CPM or PPC based pricing. Campaigns are set up with a default weighting of 20, though by request can be changed to a maximum of 100 (5 times more likely for your advert to be shown) to as low as 1 (20 times less likely for your advert to be shown, useful for conserving impressions/clicks for those on a smaller budget).
Site zones*
In the near future, we intend to allow your advert to target specific sections of phpBB.com so that your advert is shown only on the home page, downloads pages, forum pages, search result pages or remaining website content pages.

Discounting:
- For purchases of over $500 and below $5000, you gain an extra 5% impressions (CPM based) or clicks (PPC based)
- For purchases of $5000 and over, you gain an extra 10% impressions (CPM based) or clicks (PPC based)
Text-link based advertising
With phpBB.com’s high Google Pagerank and Alexa Traffic Ranking, text-link based advertising is one of the best ways to reach our extremely broad audience. The two main sections are our “Sponsors” block on the home page and footer links which run site wide, on every single page. Examples of what your text-link would look like are shown in the “Sample text-link options” panel.

If you're ready to order advertising on phpBB.com please email us with the following details:
- A copy of your banner image or proposed link text along with enhancements options if appropriate
- Where you wish your banner or text ad to link to
- For banners, the number of impressions or clicks for your campaign, plus any adjustment in weighting
Once we receive this information we will review your request and if approved we will get back to you within 3 working days with payment details and answers to any questions you may have.
Terms & Conditions
Payment
- Payment for any advertising campaign on phpBB.com must be received in full prior to the start of any campaign.
- All prices are quoted in US Dollars and payment must be made in US Dollars.
Payment Options
- Payments up to $2,000 can be made via Paypal, Business Cheque, Money Order, or Certified Cheque
- Payments up to $10,000 can be made by Business Cheque, Money Order, Certified Cheque or Wire Transfer
- Payments over $10,000 can be made by Wire Transfer, Money Order, or Certified Cheque.
- Personal Cheques are not accepted!
Cancellation
- You may cancel your advertising with phpBB.com at any time.
- For banners, the baseline $50 will not be refunded with the remainder of the campaign worth impressions or clicks reimbursed at a 80% rate.
- For text-links, partial months will not be refunded. Full remaining months will be refunded if more than one month has been purchased up front.
Content
- Advertisements on phpBB.com will not be accepted if they contain:
- Links to pornographic material
- Links to illegal material or actions (e.g.: warez sites)
- Links to sites that contain material not suitable for younger viewers (e.g.: Adult humor sites)
- Any advertisements will be screened by the phpBB.com staff and we reserve the right to reject any advertisement we find unacceptable to our audience.
