The third Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3 1997, took place in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Games for the PlayStation, Saturn and Nintendo 64 all made appearances.
The Major Announcements
The first videos of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and F-Zero X were shown at this E3. Several games were announced as well, such as Banjo-Kazooie, which had a massive promotional installation that dominated Nintendo's booth.
