Nintendo at E3 2000
Hold up, buddy.
Going into E3 2000, news of Nintendo's unannounced Game Boy Advance were widely exposed. IGN reported it had "Better than SNES-quality capabilities. Including background 'Mode 7' 3D effects and individual sprite scaling and rotation. Yoshi Story on the Game Boy Advance was used as a small demonstration of the capabilities."
Additionally, the Dolphin had been announced at E3 1999, but Nintendo was saving all details on both new systems until their own event in August, called Spaceworld 2000. Before E3 Nintendo confirmed to IGN that there would be no Dolphin or Game Boy Advance presence at E3.
The Major Announcements

Conker's Bad Fur Day, Paper Mario and Mario Tennis were also playable on the show floor -- the Conker area of Nintendo's booth had an open bar, and the game's "adult" nature was emphasized. The "World's Largest Game Boy" was also shown off, made from LEGOs.
