Nintendo at E3 1998
Hold up, buddy.
E3 1998 took place in Atlanta and Nintendo was there to promote the Nintendo 64 heavily.
The Big Announcements
The pre-show press briefing was led by Nintendo of America veteran Howard Lincoln, who discussed Rare, the formation of Nintendo Software Technology and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which was to be released in the fall of the same year.
Miyamoto's Appearance
A finalized version of Ocarina of Time was shown at the conference, and Shigeru Miyamoto appeared to discuss it, saying "With the dramatic graphics, I hope you feel like you have become Link. I hope you can feel his curiosity, his fear, his sense of danger. I feel the Zelda games are a great adventure book that combines the imagination of the author and reader."

Finally, the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Printer and Game Boy Camera were also shown for the first time at E3 1998.
