Sony at E3
Hold up, buddy.
This page collects the highlights of Sony's E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) press conferences, games and show floor displays. Sony is known for their PlayStation 3 game system, as well as their PlayStation Vita, and other products.
The Sony press conference will start Monday, June 4 at 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (for those attending the exposition in Los Angeles). Sony has said that they are announcing 20 new gaming experiences. Wether this means new games or new gameplay is to be seen. It is belived that Sony will focus a lot on the Vita and its games. A PS3 exclusive wins IGN's Game of the Show.
Patapon Vita will not be announced at the show.
Monster Hunter Vita will be announced.
Call of Duty Vita is shown, and it's not Black Ops 2.
Killzone Vita is shown and given a release date.
There will be no mention whatsoever of PlayStation 4.
PlayStation Vita receives a price drop.
Sony shows The Last Guardian, announces a release date, it's coming this year.
Guerrilla Games will show Killzone 4 at the conference and play it.
Quanitc Dream will show both of its games. One will be for PS3 and one for Vita. Sony will announce it's purchased the developer.
Some obscure PS3 bundle that no one cares about will be announced.
Two new PlayStation Move games announced; one will look awful, one will look even worse.
Kaz Hirai will pause awkwardly at least once during his speech for an extended period of time.
Poor Vita sales will be addressed by Jack Tretton's corporate friendly sense of humor.
The Last Guardian will not be dated.
BioShock Vita will be discussed during the Sony conference.
We'll see Infamous on Vita; it won't be from the original developer Sucker Punch.
Vita price becomes $180 (the price of a 3DS).
Move integration coming to Resident Evil 6 or Assassin's Creed III.
At the very end of the conference, Sony will say that PS4/Orbis/whatever will come out next year.
