The requirements for Queensland state schools in implementing both the Australian Curriculum and the Queensland curriculum from 2013 are specified in the P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework 570K.
The framework consists of a policy document and supplementary Policy statements. Together, these establish the expectations for Queensland state schools in delivering curriculum to optimise learning for all students from Prep to Year 12.
The P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework reflects the department's commitment to providing a world-class education for all students. There have been significant improvements in outcomes for Queensland students. Continued improvement will be achieved through a personal and collective commitment to our core learning priorities and to the instructional leadership of principals and high-quality teaching.
The P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework is a key reference for all state school principals, staff and school communities. It will be revised in Term 4, 2013 for 2014.
