Wild Ventana is the blog of the Ventana Wilderness Alliance, a grassroots non-profit whose mission is to protect, preserve, and restore the wilderness qualities and biodiversity of the public lands within California's northern Santa Lucia Mountains and Big Sur coast. Policies: We are an organization of advocates and stewards for Wilderness and Public Lands.  Topics, threads, and comments will, naturally, reflect this view point. We ask that all who partake in these discussions please keep their opinions civil and on topic. No advertising is allowed without the expressed permission of Wild Ventana.
