On the default settings, each segment is padded on either end by a space " ". This adds visual appeal and clarity. On the other hand, it adds two characters per segment. It'd be nice to customize this option for users who want powerline to span fewer characters.

Would a left_pad and right_pad option be useful?

(PS. This project is awesome. Thanks!)

The list looks outdated in today's context so if anyone looking for repositories to contribute for hacktoberfest. Then this might be a good place.

Our main tasks would be

  • Add new content which you find useful for yourself while making sure that it isn't already there
  • If you think any of the content is already there but is now deprecated then you can help in refactoring that as well. **Pl

It would be easier for Matlab users unfamiliar with GitHub to upload any schemes they create without leaving the Matlab environment.

To this end, it might be worthwhile setting up a server which can hold and serve the Matlab schemes, and a function which can upload them to the server using a simple UI running in Matlab.
