Describe/explain the bug
I am unable to use ResponsiveSwarmPlotCanvas for plotting a dataset with valueScale type set to time. The Axis just shows some strange time stamps which are neither related to the timestamp in the dataset or anything else.
To Reproduce
I have implemented a simple example with ResponsiveSwarmPlotCanvas where the X-Axis is picking up some random time st

The Problem
While I was debugging another issue, I noticed that the example included two bars with the same x and y values, and when you mouse over one of these bars both tooltips show up. It seems like Victory uses the x/y value to determine whether the tooltip is active when there is not another identifier.

.rickshaw_graph .detail .item.active from detail.css would benefit by adding 'width: auto; height:auto;' to auto-size the detail tooltip on graph mouse hover. In it's current form, the tooltip doesn't get auto-sized when using a relative/percentage based layout.
Tests
it's becoming more time-consuming and error-prone to manually re-test all the demos following internal refactorings and API adjustments.
now that the API is fleshed out a bit, it's possible to test a large amount of code (non-granularly) without having to simulate all interactions via Puppeteer or similar.
a lot of code can already be regression-tested by simply running all the demos and val

We need a flag or a method to hide the crosshair. Moreover this feature should disable long tap on canvas.
The case:
- Make the crosshair invisible
- Start the chart
- Make a long tap on canvas
- The chart looks like freezed

Is your feature request relasted to a problem? Please describe.
In our BarChart implementation, a part of the current daily bar (weekly chart where each bar is a day) doesn't represent a value, hence it's white. Because the background of the app is also white, there's no way to distinguish the empty bar from the background. That's mandated by our design doc so I can't just change the color.
