Hi, I'm Federico!

I'm a Software Engineer based in Italy 🇮🇹 I love programming, open-source projects, spending time with my friends and family, and of course, Pizza! 🍕

In 2019, disappointed by the available solutions, I decided to create espanso, a cross-platform Text Expander written in Rust 🦀, with the goal of building a universal ecosystem, capable of working on any machine, and most importantly, open and free for everyone.

My regular job takes most of my time, but I love to work on these projects, answering questions and helping others.
