Every seasonal FFXIV event, ongoing and scheduled for 2025

There are many seasonal events held throughout the year in Final Fantasy XIV, and it can be hard to keep up with what’s coming and going. To help sort your schedule, we’ve got a rolling list of the usual FFXIV events, timing estimates, and even speculation about what’s to come.

Below, we’ll outline the FFXIV 2025 calendar’s confirmed and tentative event schedule—along with some events that may have wrapped up for the year. Additionally, you can check out the MMO’s usual calendar too, along with a little explainer on each of the year’s festivities.

The FFXIV 2025 event calendar

While it’s hard to pinpoint or predict exactly when each regular event will take place outside of the general time of year, some are easier to predict than others.

Here’s what’s going on in FFXIV currently and what you can look forward to in the near future:

Expired events

• Heavensturn [Dec. 31, 2024 – Jan. 16, 2025]
• Valentine’s Day [Feb. 3 – Feb. 17]
• The Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt For Phantasmagoria [Feb. 26 – Patch 7.2 release]
• Little Ladies’ Day [March 3 – March 17]

How to start Hatching-tide 2025

Pretty much anyone can start the Hatching-tide event in FFXIV. You just need to reach level 15 with any combat class, and complete the Envoy quest in Ul’dah, Gridania, or Limsa Lominsa, depending on which city you started in.

Head over to Old Gridania and speak with Jihli Aliapoh, located at X:10.2, Y:9.4. The quest itself is short and very straightforward, and you’ll be rewarded with the Archon Egg Parasol cosmetic by the end of it.

Recurring FFXIV seasonal events

While some years haven’t always followed this pattern, FFXIV mostly sticks to the same schedule of seasonal staples while throwing a few new festivities in here and there. Although exact dates vary inevitably from year to year, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on event dates from previous years to gauge when to expect them to occur moving forward.

FFXIV events in 2025, what’s coming next?

The Make It Rain Campaign

The Make It Rain Campaign in Final Fantasy XIV is a recurring seasonal event centered around the Gold Saucer and the fan-favorite Hildibrand Mandeville, offering players increased rewards and exclusive items. Here are the main features to look forward to:

• MGP Bonus: During the event, players earn 50 percent more MGP from activities such as mini-games, Triple Triad, and the Fashion Report. However, MGP earned from cards remains unchanged.
• Discounted Items: Various items, including housing decorations and Gold Saucer attractions (e.g., Crystal Tower striker, Monster Toss machine), are available at reduced MGP costs through the Campaign Attendant.

The event has typically rewarded players with cosmetic items and furniture like the Cactuar Dining Table and other costumes. So with that in mind, we can probably expect even more cosmetic rewards from the 2025 Campaign as well.
