RRM Multifunction Tool Equipped for Refueling Demonstration

Dextre and the Robotic Refueling Mission (RRM) Multifunction Tool carefully position the Tertiary Cap Adapter over the Tertiary Cap Receptacle on the module to prepare for the RRM Refueling task in January 2013. Equipped with this adapter, the Multifunction Tool is able to remove the outer cap protecting the fuel valve– one of the first steps in the refueling process.
