Brent Lawson, State Site Inspector and LPI with Maine CDC's Subsurface Wastewater Unit, will join us to overview recommended response processes when you receive a complaint about a subsurface wastewater disposal issue or septic failure.  The session will include an overview of how the systems work, what a failure looks like, relevant public health issues, the statutory guidelines and required timelines for owner and municipal responses, including available resources. We'll also use a case study to review the process as it's commonly seen for local health officers.

Date: Wednesday, June 18
Time: 11:00am - 12:00
