GrammarPaw is your intelligent AI writing companion that lives in your Mac's menu bar. To access it, simply use one keyboard shortcut (⌃⌥Space), which gives you access to ChatGPT and Claude to help correct grammar, rewrite, and translate your texts easily.
Hi everyone! 👋
As an expat living in the Netherlands, English is my second language, and for the past 6 months, I've relied heavily on ChatGPT to help me avoid grammar mistakes when messaging colleagues. While it's been incredibly helpful, the process—opening ChatGPT, typing or pasting the text, then copying it back—felt cumbersome and inefficient.
That's why I created GrammarPaw! 🐾
GrammarPaw simplifies grammar correction down to one quick keyboard shortcut: paste or type your message, and instantly receive the corrected text automatically copied for you. It has dramatically streamlined my daily workflow, giving me the confidence to communicate clearly and professionally.
I'd love your feedback—let me know your thoughts or questions! 🚀
Loved the quick access to translate text. Would it work for proofreading long articles, emails etc.? I always notice typos only after I hit publish/send!
@aishwaryalohi Anything would work :) The app is designed for short to medium-length messages, so I normally use it for emails, Slack messages, or presentation content. But longer articles also work!
I love the idea behind it. Does it offer suggestions for the text as Grammarly? Thanks to that I can see – what mistakes I made, what possible synonyms are etc. Subconsciously it helps me to learn/improve my English. :)
@busmark_w_nika We do offer suggestions at the moment, but not multi-variant ones like Grammarly has. You gave me a pretty good idea to improve the app! Thanks!
