Pictures and video have been shared giving Harry Potter fans a first glimpse of the much-anticipated television adaptation, set to be filmed at Warner Bros studios in Leavesden.

Twitter/X user UnBoxPHD has released footage of what appears to be the set for Privet Drive, the suburban street in which a young Harry Potter lives with his unpleasant aunt and uncle before being invited to Hogwarts.

Filming is expected to begin this summer, although we do not currently know who will be stepping into Daniel Radcliffe's shoes and playing The Boy Who Lived.

Several casting announcements have already been made, including John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Nick Frost portraying Rubeus Hagrid.

Other productions seen filming in Leavesden this year include Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon and DC Studios upcoming Supergirl film.
