PIP@10 - Celebrating a decade of implementation
Overview
May 2021 signaled the 10th anniversary since the adoption of the PIP Framework and thus was an opportunity to take stock and highlight the achievements of the program for internal and external stakeholders. This brochure is part of a package of communications and advocacy products aimed at highlighting the key milestones and achievements of the PIP Framework in the 10 years since it was signed. It provides a brief history of the PIP Framework and the key elements of the instrument including influenza virus sharing, Partnership Contribution, Standard Material Transfer Agreements, and its governance mechanisms. Additionally, it highlights some of the key achievements of the framework from the last 10 years, including how the COVID-19 response has benefited from PIP’s country-focused capacity strengthening investments.
