2025 Chairman’s Awards for Advancement in Accessibility

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is honoring the winners of the 2025 Chairman’s Awards for Advancement in Accessibility in a ceremony to be held at 2:30 PM EDT on Thursday, July 24, 2025. 

The event is open to the public and will take place in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters, 45 L St NE, Washington, DC. You do not have to register to attend the event.

The ceremony will be webcast with open captioning at fcc.gov/live.

The meeting site is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs or other mobility aids. Sign language interpreters, open captioning, and assistive listening devices will be provided on site. Other reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are available upon request. The Chairman’s AAA was first introduced in 2010 at the FCC’s celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Since the first award ceremony, the Chairman’s AAA has been a key part of the FCC efforts to recognize technical advances that have made communications tools more accessible to people with disabilities.
