Note: 2025 ALA Annual Date Change: This year, ALA Annual offers a streamlined schedule, designed to provide an engaging and more accessible experience for attendees near and far. Attendees can register onsite as early as Thursday, June 26, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The conference will officially close on Monday, June 30, after a memorable Closing General Session (4:00pm—5:00pm ET) followed by the Inaugural Reception (6:00pm—8:00pm ET).
- As part of the Full Registration package, you have access to educational programming; exhibitors and LIVE stages in the Library Marketplace; Opening and Closing sessions; ALA President's Program; Featured Speakers; the Job Placement Center; and so much more. Full Registration covers Thursday, June 26 through Monday, June 30, and all sessions except for Preconferences and optional Ticketed Events.
- Single Day Registration allows access to the conference on the day of your choosing (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday).
- Exhibits-Only Registration allows access to the Library Marketplace only (Saturday through Monday).
Group Discount Registration
JOIN US AS A TEAM! Attend ALA Annual with your staff and co-workers. For LIS schools, attend with your students and faculty staff.
If you’d like to register a group, ALA is offering a Register 5 People and get 1 Free Registration option. To register your group, begin by signing in with the first person you’d like to register, then click the "Add Another" button on the Review Information page to add each subsequent registrant. Once you've completed registration for everyone in your group, click "Finish" on the Review page. Note: You will need to enter a unique email address for each person in your group. Also, when registering the group of six, the free registration will be reflected on the Payment page. The total cost for all five registrants can be paid via credit card, purchase order, or check. If paying by check, please include the check number in the purchase order number box.

Hotel Accommodations
Please note that you must be registered for the conference in order to book a hotel room. To book a room, you may do so immediately after registering or use the link to your personalized dashboard located in your registration confirmation email. Accepted forms of payment are American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Check and Purchase Order. If paying by check or Purchase Order, click "Check" or "Purchase Order" and enter the number.

Registration Edits
If you need to make an edit or add to your registration, please visit the dashboard found in your confirmation email. If you need additional assistance or cannot locate your confirmation, please email [email protected].
Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations must be sent to [email protected] by May 31, 2025. A $50 handling fee will be charged for each canceled registration; refunds are not available for cancellations made after May 31, 2025. Refunds will be processed after the event.

Photos/Video Policy
Attendance at this event constitutes permission for your photograph or video to be taken at the event and used for ALA purposes.
Purchase Orders
Registrations using purchase orders are handled online. Please have the purchase order number available.
Letter of Attendance
The letter can be accessed through your dashboard from your registration confirmation. An email containing your letter of attendance will also be sent when you pick up your badge at registration.
Digital Experience
The Digital Experience will not be offered at the 2025 Annual Conference & Exhibition.
