Mapping Black California celebrates its 10 year Anniversary
Mapping Black California (MBC) is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, having used data and storytelling to empower Black communities in California, and is looking to expand beyond California in the future.

Good Black Jobs
As a way to further efforts to mitigate challenges facing these communities, BVN is highlighting Black- owned businesses and the institutions that support them. The series will consist of stories, photo essays, and pop-up newsroom events that center on the lived experiences of Black-owned business owners and workers in the region.
