The schedule for Community Over Code North America has been released and early bird registration rates are in effect until June 28. This month the ASF welcomes two new Top-Level Projects that have graduated from the Apache Incubator.

The schedule is now available for Community Over Code North America, happening September 11-14 in Minneapolis. Early bird registration ends June 28. ASF committers can use their apache.org email to register for the Committer Rate of $250 USD.
If you’re interested in attending Community Over Code North America but are unable to for financial reasons, the ASF’s Travel Assistance Committee may be able to help cover some of your travel costs. Apply for travel assistance to CoC NA by June 14.
And don’t forget to register for Community Over Code Asia, happening July 23-27 in Beijing.

President’s Letter
It’s event season! Community Over Code Asia is 7 short weeks away, and Community Over Code North America follows a few more weeks later. If you haven’t made plans to attend one of these events yet, I strongly encourage you to consider it. We’re great at working together virtually, but amazing things happen when we come together at these in person events.
Meanwhile, as a foundation we’ll have representatives joining the third Open Source Congress this fall. This event is becoming a crucial gathering spot for inter-foundational collaboration, critical to how we all address the changing software development landscape in the face of increasing global regulation.
But before all of that, quite a few ASF folks (including myself) will again be attending UN Open Source Week this month, and we’re an organizing partner of the UN Tech Over Hackathon. I look forward to sharing the projects that come out of the hackathon in next month’s Plus One.
