The ASF had a very busy week, and held its 2-day Members’ meeting (highlighted by elections for the new Board and 100+ potential new Members; votes took place using Apache STeVe). The ASF welcomed its new Board, comprising Rich Bowen, Shane Curcuru, Bertrand Delacretaz, Jim Jagielski, Chris Mattmann, David Nalley, Brett Porter, Sam Ruby, and Greg Stein, and thanked Doug Cutting and Ross Gardler (who stood down at this election) for their service to the Foundation and Apache community.

ASF Community Development –volunteers who help guide newcomers to The Apache Software Foundation, provide insight and advice on The Apache Way of meritocratic development, including how to contribute to Apache projects and to the Open Source community at-large.

Apache Syncope™ –an Open Source system for managing digital identities in enterprise environments, implemented in JEE technology.
