Construction Updates

Construction

The Department of General Services (DGS) manages construction projects on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR).  DPR serves as a subject matter expert by assisting with project planning and design.  Community engagement is an important component of construction projects.  With this philosophy in mind, DPR and DGS work collaboratively to solicit community feedback throughout the planning, design, and construction of all DPR capital projects by hosting community meetings, briefing Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANC), and by posting pertinent information on each agency's website.
