How do I add or modify administrator access within a user profile using the Admin Tool?

You can add or modify a user's administrator's access using the Admin Tool.

Modify an existing user profile's administrator privileges

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click on the 'All Products' tab.

  3. Under 'Manage User IDs', click 'Administrators'. A list of users with administrator access will load.

  4. Click on any administrator usernames and scroll down to see the 'Administrator Privileges' section to edit or remove administrator access from that profile.

After completing these steps, the user's admin rights will be modified.

Add administrator privileges to an existing user

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click on the 'All Products' tab.

  3. Under 'Manage User IDs', click 'Administrators'. A list of users with administrator access will load.

  4. Click 'From an existing user profile,' located beside the 'Create a new administrator' heading.

  5. Search using a username, first and last name, or e-mail address of the user you want to add admin access to, or click 'View All Users' to pick from the entire list.

  6. Click into the username you want to edit, then select the administrator privilege level you want the user to have under the Administrator Privileges section.

  7. Click 'Save'. 

After completing these steps, the user you modified will have administrator access to your account.

Create a new profile with administrator privileges

  1. Sign in to the Admin Tool.

  2. Click on the 'All Products' tab.

  3. Under 'Manage User IDs', click 'Administrators'. A list of users with administrator access will load.

  4. Click 'From a New User Profile' on the top of the page.

  5. Complete the profile information and then select a group within your account to associate the user with, including the administrator privilege level.

  6. Click 'Save'.

After completing these steps, the user will have administrator access to your account.
