What is a Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG)?

A Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is a collaborative organization made up of representatives from faith-based groups, non-profits, government agencies, businesses, and community organizations. As a proven leader in disaster recovery, the Sarasota County Long-Term Recovery Group has successfully guided the community through the aftermath of major storms by providing long-term assistance and resources to individuals and families affected by disasters.

We hold community meetings on the last Friday of each month at 9:00 AM EST via Zoom. All community members and stakeholders are welcome to attend and learn how they can be part of the recovery process.
