The Big Sur River Inn, originally the Apple Pie Inn, has been the site of fun family vacations, wedding celebrations and quiet Big Sur getaways for many generations.
We invite you to relax from the pressure of civilization on the sun-dappled deck beside the Inn’s outdoor pool, renew your spirit with great food and drink in our historic dining room overlooking the Big Sur River, reconnect with lifeâs simple pleasures as you lie back in the soft, fragrant grass on the banks of the River.
The Big Sur River Inn is steeped in romance, history and 1930’s nostalgia. We look forward to sharing our little slice of paradise with you.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Gas Station will continue to offer locals 27% discount off gas and propane, making gas comparable to town prices with out the drive. Current attendant hours are 9-5 daily.
The Restaurant is serving indoor and outdoor from 8am – 9pm daily.
The front office will be open 9-8 daily.

ADA Accessible
Big Sur River Inn offers one ADA room is on the first floor (a Riverside Suite) and features a large bathroom with roll-in shower, both a fixed shower head and an adjustable height hand held shower head, a shower bench, grab bars around the commode and in the shower stall, and a roll-under sink. Bathroom provides ample turning radius. The room has a sound fire/smoke alarm. The room is accessible from the ADA designated space in the parking lot via an accessible path of travel.
Reception and Front Desk are available from the ADA parking space via an accessible path of travel as well. The restaurant, general store and lawn area may be accessed using level walkways along the front of the property.
