Doctor Creek Group Campground

Overview
Group Campground located approximately 40 miles from Richfield, Utah. Paved camping area.

Facilities
Two group sites are available: Group A and Group B accommodate 150 people and 30 vehicles. Flush toilets, water and tent camping spots. 

Natural Features
Wide open scenic view of Fishlake, surrounded by sagebrush flats.

Recreation
Nearby recreation opportunities include fishing, boating, hiking, OHV trail riding.

General Information

May - September

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Firewood permits are available at Forest Service offices located in Loa, Utah and Richfield, Utah.

-Please refrain from cutting or breaking branches around campsites. Kindly bring your own firewood to help preserve the natural environment and camping experience.

-Camping stay limit is 16 days, 15 nights. After that you must relocate at least 5 road miles away if you wish to continue camping.

-Follow local fire restrictions and fully extinguish campfires before leaving.

-Pack out all trash and follow leave no trace principles.

-Use designated flush toilet to protect natural environment and wildlife.

-Use existing sites and park only on durable surfaces (not vegetation)

-Store food properly in bear-proof containers.

-Camping is limited to 150 people.

-Pets must be on a leash.

-OHVs are not allowed within the campground.

-Discharging of firearms is prohibited.

-Fireworks are prohibited.

Fee information is subject to change. Please visit Recreation.gov for information on nightly rates.

-Pets must be leashed at all times within this recreation area. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and to protect wildlife.

-Clean up dog waste and dispose of it properly.

-Keep dogs from chasing, harassing, and disturbing wildlife or other visitors.

-Yield to other hikers, horses, and other trail users by stepping off the trail and controlling your dog.

Directions

Doctor Creek Group Campground is 39.9 miles east of Richfield, Utah. Head east on UT-118 N/E 300 N toward N 100 E 0.8 mi. Continue straight onto UT-119 E 8.8 miles. Turn right onto UT-24 E for 23.1 miles then turn left onto UT-25 N 7 miles. Turn right on Doctor Creek Campground road and travel 0.3 miles.
