    Reclamation announces Yakima basin July water supply forecast

    YAKIMA, Wash. – The Bureau of Reclamation’s July 2025 total water supply available forecast for the Yakima basin indicates the water supply will not fully meet irrigation demands this season. The early estimate of the total water supply available for the May 20–September period indicates senior water rights will receive 100% full entitlements, but junior water rights will receive 45% of their full entitlements.     Reclamation seeks public input on a proposed programmatic environmental assessment for an emergency stabilization and rehabilitation plan

    Ephrata, Wash. – The Bureau of Reclamation invites the public to identify issues or alternatives for consideration in the development of a programmatic environmental assessment as part of the National Environmental Policy Act for the Ephrata Field Office Emergency Stabilization and Burned Area Rehabilitation Plan. This plan addresses recovery efforts on EFO managed lands in the state of Washington impacted by wildfire. The 15-day public comment period is open until July 11, 2025. Read More>>
